The Gold Maxx Power detector is an exceptional detector for finding even the smallest metal objects even in the most difficult soil types (highly mineralized* soils).
* We use the term “mineralized” soil to refer to soil that is naturally magnetic or has become magnetic as a result of intensive human settlement (iron deposits or terracotta). The term does not include seawater (brine), which is non-magnetic but conducts electricity.
The device’s search frequency (18 kHz) makes it very sensitive to targets that are usually very difficult to detect, such as thin silver coins, gold grains and all other small objects.
The Gold Maxx Power detector is not only intended for searching for natural gold, but it is designed to find all kinds of small and large metal objects – with the Gold Maxx Power detector, it is guaranteed that you will find even the smallest metal coins, military objects, hidden jewels and mints.
The significant flexibility of the device allows the detector to be set up to suit all types of soil where it is possible to search with a metal detector.
Thanks to the Multi-Tones mode and the iron level setting IRON LEVEL and the new sound threshold setting option IRON THRESHOLD, it is possible to disable irrelevant findings and focus only on valuable findings
When designing their detectors, Xp Metal Detectors has preferred the immediate beeper over the LCD display, because compared to the LCD display, the human ear has an extraordinary ability to analyze, so you can be sure that you can detect even the weakest signals.
Because LCD displays cannot respond in real-time and do not pick up weak signals that are too short-lived or too close to other signals, conventional detectors may struggle to detect small objects at depth.
Since the sound signal of the Gold Maxx Power detector offers even the weakest signal output in real time, the detector can also detect precious metals that are located next to low-value iron objects.
Xp detectors use wide scan search heads (double-D) because this coil shape allows the magnetic field to penetrate the ground better.
An optional elliptical 24×11 search head improves resolution in areas rich in iron debris – this search head design is also the best addition to the Gold Maxx detector
Gold Maxx users are beginning to appreciate the device’s durability and build quality. Since the metal detector is generally used in extreme conditions, XP has paid close attention to the most sensitive parts. Gold Maxx Power is designed and manufactured using high quality components and materials, thus ensuring maximum useful life for your XP detector.
During the development path of the XP Gold Maxx Power detector, a completely new electronic block has been introduced, which has, for example, the following functions:
-
Wireless headphones: The transmitter and receiver are now integrated on the detector circuit boards. The FREQ SHIFT switch on the front panel of the detector allows you to quickly and easily switch between two output channels: CH 1 or CH 2.
-
Frequency Shift: A new switch (FREQ SHIFT) allows you to set the detection frequency (Freq. 1 or Freq. 2) to reduce interference from any other nearby XP device.
-
New analog filters improve target detection in iron-rich areas. The protective field created by the iron is greatly weakened. Thus, targets of interest in iron-rich areas can be more easily discovered, which in turn enables large-scale fieldwork to be carried out more quickly.
-
XP has also improved the scaling of the sensitivity settings, which are now much more accurate. Thanks to the increased range of sensitivity settings, the new sensitive allows more extensive fine-tuning in the settings you choose, making sensitivity adjustment as easy as possible.

The Gold Maxx Power is still a “multi-tonal” detector, but the user can now adjust the iron level settings using the IRON THRESHOLD potentiometer. This potentiometer can be thought of as a detection setting that only covers the iron range. The potentiometer has options for small corrections between 0 and 20. At
value 0, the iron detection sound sounds at medium pitch. The higher the setting value, the lower the pitch of the iron detection sound.
This allows, for example, small spikes to be received at low pitch, while larger spikes are detected at medium pitch. As you surely already know, too high a level of differentiation can hinder the detector’s performance.
This setting is preset to a level suitable for most users. However, beginners usually do not want their machine to register iron, while more experienced users prefer to keep this option to make it easier to identify targets in difficult terrain.
The settings GROUND, SILENCER, IRON VOLUME (previously known as Level) are unchanged. -
The Gold Maxx Power detector is also equipped with a powerful new circuit board that combines functionality and choice, two aspects that are usually very difficult to combine. The search head diameter of the Gold Maxx Power device is far ahead of its competitors in terms of analysis speed.
